By using TaskDan, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TaskDan ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TaskDan is an AI-powered productivity application that helps you manage tasks, plan your day, and integrate with your calendar and email. The Service includes web and mobile interfaces, AI-powered planning features, and integrations with third-party services like Google Calendar and Gmail.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
Use the Service to transmit any malicious code or interfere with its operation
Resell or commercially exploit the Service without written permission
Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service

5. Google Integration

When you connect your Google account, you authorize TaskDan to access your Google Calendar and Gmail data as described in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke this access at any time from your Account settings or directly through your Google account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

6. AI Features

TaskDan uses AI to generate task plans and identify actionable items from your email. AI-generated content is provided as suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing and acting on any AI-generated recommendations. TaskDan is not liable for decisions made based on AI suggestions.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep TaskDan available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

9. Intellectual Property

The TaskDan name, logo, and all associated software are owned by TaskDan and protected by intellectual property laws. Your task data and content remain yours — we claim no ownership over the content you create.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Account → Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaskDan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
